tel: +48 (71) 320-27-60 It develops theoretical and experimental methods based on discrete models. Research comprises static as well as dynamical problems. Special attention is devoted to dynamics of material systems and constructions and to development of experimental mechanics methods as well as mathematical modelling of damage properties and processes.
Experimental research is focused on new methods of examination of constructions subjected to complex cyclic loads (non sinusoidal continuous, random and impulse loads). Methods are based on nonlinear discrete systems including, for example, viscotic damping and/or dry friction. New solutions are obtained with the computer simulations and experimental examinations.
